Welcome
Established in 1946, the World Trade Club is one of the oldest as well as one of the largest international trade organizations in Washington. Our mission is to provide a forum for the business community to:
-
Acquire practical skills for international business -- marketing, finance, and import/export procedures.
-
Give briefings on international trade issues.
-
Expand the understanding of business practices of U.S. trading partners.
-
Develop long-term strategic contacts to advance international business.
World Trade Club meetings provide an excellent opportunity to learn while networking with others in the trade community. The Club has monthly meetings which feature noted experts who make presentations on international trade topics. The Club also organizes skill sessions and seminars to provide in-depth information on very specific issues of interest to our members. Additionally, the Club sponsors the WTC Education Program and WTC Education Fund to offer opportunities for students in international trade to attend events and broaden their education. Please click on our Membership, Events and Contact Us links for more information, or contact the World Trade Club office at (206) 686-3736. Our staff and Board of Directors welcome your inquires.
